BTW, for iPhone folks, I can highly recommend 3D Sun, a free app from NASA that provides live data on auroras like the one above, solar flares, sunspots, and "a 3D view of the sun ­ a digital reconstruction of images freshly downloaded from NASA's "STEREO" satellites, orbiting millions of miles away." It also has live video of some amazing solar flares and storms. Very cool.
