I do see your point. Considering that the plane scene from Superman Returns does make my balls tingle. I never felt that during ASM. I guess I just didn't feel it was a bad movie.
Avengers has spoiled the superhero films. I just hope The Dark Knight Rises doesn't disappoint.

Superman Returns isn't a good film but if you made me choose between the two, I'd pick it every time. Superman Returns at least feels like Superman at points in his film. Spider-man never really has that defining moment where you suspend disbelief and go, "Damn, that's Spider-man!". For the hour+ wait it takes for Peter to actually get bitten by the radioactive spider and get to the inciting incident of the film, you never get one of these scenes afterward. The film is marred with these pacing and tone problems and the chemistry between Garfield and Stone can't save it on its own.

Man, Avengers was so good. Maybe we are spoiled superhero film-wise because of it. If ASM was released around the same time Ang Lee's Hulk came out, maybe we'd like it more...

I agree that the new Spiderman isn't that great but its not that bad. But I can't for the life of me figure out how any of you can call Superman Returns a good film. Good cinematography and a good score don't cancel out bad acting and a bad story. Bryan Singer made a Superman film for himself and a handful of fans. To me that is just as bad as tanking a film because the studio won't let you make the film you want (Sm Raimi's Spiderman 3). To conclude, I think you guys were too harsh on The Amazing Spiderman. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. And to agree with Jon, I give the Avengers a 6 out of 5 stars. One extra for the "Puny God" scene.

My PS3 FAT still works fine. That's probably because I actually use it, instead of letting it collect dust.

SO you can literally FUCK your own face!

Maybe Devon (or was it Chris? I forget. They're both idiots) has fucking duck hands and he fucked up his blu ray drive by mashing the eject button, instead of treating it with class and grace. Red ring motherfuckers want to talk about PS3s going bad.

BTW, I don't know what Suarez was talking about. I've never been to a sticher, I don't know what a fucking sticher is.

Steve? Shine on, you crazy diamond.
